About the Builder

The owner and builder of Ashley Homes, Chuck Hiers, brings a wealth of experience, expertise and dedication to his craft as evidenced by many successful years in Jacksonville’s home building industry.

He has been involved with the construction of over 15,000 homes since 1980. Chuck spent 10 years with the DW Hutson Company as a Superintendent, Project Manager, then VP of Construction, 2 years as VP of Construction at Thompkins Heritage Homes, and founded Ash-Brooke Construction in 1986 which is still ongoing today.

In 2001 Chuck became VP of Construction and a partner at D.S. Ware Homes, and remained as VP of Construction after Engle Homes bought the company. In 2007 D.S. Ware Homes/Monarch Homes re-entered the housing market, this time with Chuck as a part Owner/Partner as well as VP of Construction. In 2012 Chuck founded, and became the managing member of Ashley Homes.

Ashley Homes is now on the path for expansion and growth under the leadership and direction of this skilled and experienced Builder. He is uniquely qualified to deliver a beautiful, quality custom-built home to each valued and discerning homebuyer.
